This role shall be principally focused on Civilian Training Services Problem Solving Training for DOD/Military | Aerospace, Defense, and Military - Aerospace, Defense, and Military (ADM) Industry Sector Group: Services and Solutions That Enable Aerospace, Defense, and Military Agencies To Enhance Capabilities, Drive Transformation, Operate Sustainably, And Maintain Mission-Readiness. We seek Problem Solving Training Course Instructor | Problem Solving Training [USARC0016016] candidates with relevant DOD/Military Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for DOD/Military Sector Clients such as USARC. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Problem Solving Training Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - Civilian Training Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support as a Problem Solving Training Course Instructor [Civilian Training Services] aligned with the Problem Solving Training Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline in the DOD/Military Industry Sector. This role focuses on HC | Human Capital Solutions for clients such as United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) | USARC Civilian Training Services - 'Civilian Personnel Management Office (CPMO) ', located in Southeast (Fort Bragg, NC/Virtual Delivery) and across the Southeastern United States / U.S. East Coast Region (Of Country/World) Hybrid – On/Off Client Site and Virtual. Delivering problem-solving learning solutions that strengthen workforce readiness, leadership effectiveness, and mission performance. The Problem Solving Training program develops participants’ ability to analyze complex challenges, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions that improve organizational performance and mission outcomes. Participants learn structured methodologies, critical-thinking techniques, and systems-based approaches to address operational, workforce, and strategic issues in dynamic environments. Through facilitated exercises, case studies, collaborative analysis, and applied problem-solving activities, participants strengthen decision-making capabilities and gain confidence in leading improvement initiatives across diverse organizational settings. Learning Objectives: Apply structured problem-solving methodologies; conduct root-cause analysis; use systems thinking; evaluate alternatives; develop actionable solutions; improve decision-making; build consensus; and communicate recommendations effectively.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years professional training, facilitation, instructional delivery, or military/civilian workforce development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • instructional certifications preferred
  • Primarily focused on Professional and Management Development Training initiatives and aligned with Program Support activities, Problem Solving Training, Functional Area Activities.
  • Facilitation, adult learning, communication, curriculum delivery, virtual instruction, and assessment.
  • Leadership, collaboration, problem solving, communication, adaptability, and customer focus.
  • Integrates LMS platforms, audio/visual technologies, interactive exercises, and performance-based learning methodologies.
  • The Problem Solving Training Instructor typically provides 2 Days (16 Hours) of Instructor-Led Training (ILT) / Workshop Engagements, serving as a Content Subject Matter Expert/Instructor II Senior SME Instructor, aligned with NAICS: 611430 - Professional and Management Development Training and Knowledge Management.
  • Problem Solving professional specialty requires structured problem-solving, the Army Problem Solving Process, the Army Design Methodology, root-cause analysis, systems thinking, and decision-support facilitation.
  • NACI eligibility required
  • supports USARC CPMO Civilian Leadership & Development Program
  • in-person and virtual delivery.
  • understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
  • advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, and proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio with the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
