PRN Lab Aide
About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Laboratory Process Aide to work on an as-needed basis in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. The aide processes and accession specimens, orders testing, and creates batches for core laboratory and reference testing to be sent out. The position also assists with assigned clerical, quality control, and maintenance duties; answers phones; relays patient results; and monitors expected and outstanding logs. The aide may perform some waived or moderately complex testing as required. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Previous phlebotomy experience or phlebotomy certification from an accredited school is preferred; the employer can provide eight weeks of on-the-job training.
