About The Position
The Laboratory Process Aide performs specimen processing, orders testing, accessions specimens, and creates batches for core laboratory and reference testing to be sent out. The aide also assists with assigned clerical, quality control, and maintenance duties; answers phones; relays patient results; and monitors expected and outstanding logs. The aide may perform some waived or moderately complex testing as required. This is a PRN position, with work as needed and varying shifts and days.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Previous phlebotomy experience or phlebotomy certification from an accredited school; on-the-job training is available for eight weeks.
Responsibilities
