About The Position

Independence Home Health LLC is seeking compassionate and dedicated PRN Aides/CNAs to provide quality in-home care to patients in the Bloomington, Indiana area, including travel to patient homes in the Nineveh area. The role supports patients’ independence, comfort, and quality of life through personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily needs. Care is delivered in accordance with individualized care plans, home health protocols, and applicable guidelines and regulations. The company emphasizes respect for each individual’s freedom and involvement in healthcare decisions. Aides support collaborative care planning that incorporates patients’ and families’ input, helping foster dignity, self-worth, and holistic well-being. The position offers flexible work and pays $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Active CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in Indiana.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient homes in the Nineveh, Indiana area.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Compassionate, patient-centered attitude and commitment to quality care.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting.
CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
Monitor and document patient health status and report changes to supervising nurses.
Support patients with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment for patients.
Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
Follow individualized care plans and adhere to home health protocols and procedures.
