About The Position
Independence Home Health LLC is seeking compassionate and dedicated PRN Aides/CNAs to provide high-quality, personalized care to patients in their homes in Nashville, Indiana. The role supports patients’ independence and quality of life through personal care, mobility assistance, health monitoring, meal support, light housekeeping, companionship, and adherence to individualized care plans. The position offers flexible, as-needed shifts within a supportive work environment.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in Indiana.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude and commitment to quality care.
- Flexibility to work PRN/as-needed shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
- Monitor and document patient health status and report changes to supervising nursing staff.
- Support patients with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean patient environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
- Follow individualized care plans and adhere to home health care protocols.
