About The Position
Independence Home Health LLC is seeking compassionate, dedicated PRN Aides/CNAs to provide high-quality, personalized care to patients in their homes in Nashville, Indiana. The role supports patients’ independence and quality of life through personal care, assistance with daily needs, companionship, and implementation of individualized care plans. A collaborative approach respects patients’ freedom to participate in decisions about their healthcare and incorporates their input, along with family input, into care planning. The position offers flexible, as-needed shifts and pays $17.00–$18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Current Indiana CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude and commitment to quality care.
- Flexibility to work PRN/as-needed shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
- Monitor and document patient health status and report changes to supervising nursing staff.
- Support meal preparation and patients’ nutritional needs.
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean patient environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
- Follow individualized care plans and home health care protocols.
