About The Position

Independence Home Health LLC is seeking compassionate and dedicated PRN Aides/CNAs to provide quality, personalized care to patients in their homes in Columbus, Indiana. The role supports patients’ independence, quality of life, and participation in decisions about their healthcare by incorporating their input into a collaborative plan of care. Caregivers work independently in home settings and follow individualized care plans and agency protocols. PRN shifts are worked as needed. Compensation is $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) credentials in the state of Indiana.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a home environment.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Compassionate, patient-centered attitude and commitment to quality care.
• Flexibility to work PRN shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or a similar patient care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Monitor and document patient health status and report changes to supervising clinical staff.
• Support patients with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean patient environment.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
• Follow individualized care plans and home health agency protocols.
• Respect patients’ individual freedom and incorporate their input into collaborative care planning.
