About The Position

Independence Home Health LLC is seeking compassionate and dedicated PRN Aides/CNAs to provide quality care to patients in their homes in the Nineveh, Indiana area. The role focuses on supporting patients’ personal care, mobility, nutrition, and emotional well-being while helping them maintain independence and quality of life. Aides follow individualized care plans and home health protocols, document patient status, and report changes to supervising nurses. The position involves travel to patient homes and offers flexible work in a supportive environment.

Requirements

• Active CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in Indiana.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient homes in the Nineveh, Indiana area.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Compassionate, patient-centered attitude and commitment to quality care.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Monitor and document patient health status and report changes to supervising nurses.
• Support patients with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment for patients.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to home health protocols and procedures.
