About The Position

The agency is hiring compassionate, energetic Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide private-duty home healthcare to a 2-year-old client with a G-tube in Northeast Baltimore, Maryland. The nurse works one-on-one in the client’s home. The agency is willing to train qualified and interested nurses in G-tube, trach, and ventilator care, with nursing supervisors providing instruction.

Available shifts are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The pay range is $26–$42 per hour, with rates based on licensure, skills, experience, and case. Employees receive time-and-a-half for hours worked beyond 40 in a week. Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment. The agency also offers weekly pay with direct deposit, a referral bonus program, and ongoing educational training. It is Joint Commission Accredited and has provided home care for adults and pediatric patients for over 38 years.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Maryland nursing license or multistate compact license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence working independently.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of G-tube and trach care; training is available for qualified and interested candidates.
• Ventilator experience; training is available for qualified candidates.
• Pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client’s home.
• Complete nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient’s Plan of Care.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.
