About The Position

The agency is hiring an LPN or RN to provide private-duty nursing care to a 3-year-old male client with a G-tube in the client’s home in Berlin, Maryland. The available schedule is a 12-hour night shift with flexibility. The agency is willing to train qualified, interested nurses in G-tube, trach, and ventilator care. Nurses work one-on-one with clients and receive ongoing educational training. The agency provides home care for adults and pediatric patients and has been Joint Commission accredited for over 38 years.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or a multistate compact license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence working independently.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of G-tube and trach care; qualified, interested candidates may be trained.
• Ventilator experience; qualified candidates may be trained.
• Pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client’s home.
• Complete nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient’s Plan of Care.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.
