About The Position
The agency is hiring compassionate, energetic Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses to provide private-duty home healthcare. This position involves caring one-on-one for a 33-year-old male client with a tracheostomy and ventilator in Towson, Maryland. The available shift is Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The agency is willing to train qualified and interested nurses in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care. Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment. The agency provides weekly pay with direct deposit available, a referral bonus program, and ongoing educational training.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Maryland nursing license or multistate compact license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- Valid CPR/BLS certification.
- Confidence working independently.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of G-tube and tracheostomy care; qualified and interested candidates may be trained.
- Ventilator experience; qualified candidates may be trained.
- Pediatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one in the client's home.
- Complete nursing assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care.
- Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.
