Private Duty Nurse - Rosedale, MD
About The Position
The agency is hiring compassionate, energetic Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide private-duty home healthcare for a 31-year-old male client in Rosedale, Maryland. The client has a G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator. Training in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care is available for qualified and interested nurses. Available Friday shifts are 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. The role involves providing one-on-one nursing care in the client's home, conducting nursing assessments, administering prescribed medications and treatments, and documenting nursing notes clearly and concisely. The agency is Joint Commission Accredited and has provided home care for adults and pediatric patients for over thirty-eight years.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or a multistate compact license as an LPN or RN.
- Valid CPR/BLS certification.
- Confidence working independently.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of G-tube and tracheostomy care; training is available for qualified and interested candidates.
- Ventilator experience; training is available for qualified candidates.
- Pediatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one nursing care in the client's home.
- Complete nursing assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care.
- Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner.
