About The Position

The agency is hiring compassionate LPNs and RNs to provide one-on-one nursing care to a 34-year-old male client with a G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator in the client’s home in Bel Air, Maryland. The agency is willing to train qualified nurses in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care. Available shifts are Thursday, 3 p.m.–11 p.m., and Tuesday, 11 p.m.–7 a.m.

The agency is Joint Commission Accredited and provides home care to adult and pediatric patients. It has provided home care for over thirty-eight years and offers ongoing educational training.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Maryland nursing license or multistate compact license as an LPN or RN.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence working independently.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of G-tube and tracheostomy care; qualified and interested candidates may be trained.
• Ventilator experience; qualified candidates may be trained.
• Pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with the client in the client’s home.
• Complete nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient’s Plan of Care.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.
