About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a caregiver, home health aide, or CNA to provide one-on-one personal care and companionship to adults in their homes in Bradenton, Ellenton, Palmetto, Parrish, Lakewood Ranch, West Bradenton, Anna Maria Island, Bradenton Beach, and Longboat Key. The pay rate is $17–$19 per hour. Following a written plan of care from a registered nurse, the caregiver provides personal care, household support, and companion care to help clients remain safe and independent at home. The role includes close relationships with clients and support from a larger care team, with training and flexible scheduling.

Requirements

One year of verifiable work experience.
Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
Commitment to being present and providing quality care.
Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
Commitment to compassionate, excellent, and reliable patient care.
Up-to-date CPR Certification (BLS) with an in-person component.
Current Level II Background Check.

Responsibilities

Provide care according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed-making.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
Provide transportation.
