About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one personal care and companionship to adults and seniors in their homes in the Tampa, Carrollwood, Brandon, Sun City Center, Riverview, Plant City, and other areas. Following a written plan of care from a registered nurse, the caregiver provides personal care, household support, and companion care to help clients remain safe and independent at home. The position involves building close relationships with clients while supporting activities of daily living and other care needs. BAYADA offers training, flexibility, team support, a positive work environment, and access to an on-call clinical manager.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of work experience.
A current Home Health Aide certificate from at least a 40-hour course, or a CNA license, or one year of hands-on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide.
BLS-certified CPR from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy.
Level II Background Check.

Responsibilities

Follow the written plan of care provided by a registered nurse.
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide household support, including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Assist clients with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
Help adults stay safe and independent in their homes.
