About The Position

As a Private Duty Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one, non-medical support to clients in their homes. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, companionship, exercises, and other daily tasks as directed by the supervisor. The role calls for a compassionate and dependable individual who values each client’s dignity and independence. Youth Apprentices under 18 will serve on-campus clients only.

Requirements

• A CNA license is not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks safely and effectively.
• Ability to travel to client homes, including homes not accessible by public transit.
• Reliable transportation is required; a valid driver’s license and current insurance are required if driving.
• Must maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
• If under 18, must be enrolled in a Youth Apprentice and diploma/GED program.
• Youth Apprentices under 18 will serve on-campus clients only.
