About The Position

Right at Home of Salt Lake is hiring caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. The role focuses on helping clients live safely and comfortably while providing companionship and emotional support, assistance with personal hygiene and mobility, healthy meal preparation, and a safe home environment. Caregivers also provide transportation to appointments or outings and medication reminders. Part-time openings are available on weekdays and weekends in the Salt Lake area.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Able to pass a background check.
Experience with dementia and behavioral care.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Assist clients with personal hygiene and mobility.
Prepare healthy meals.
Maintain a safe home environment.
Provide transportation to appointments or outings.
Give timely medication reminders.

Benefits

Competitive pay of $17.00–$18.25 per hour depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA; minimum $27.50 per shift.
Training/GUIDE respite rate of $17.00 per hour.
Raises after 60 days and annual reviews with consistent hours.
Generous bonus after 60 days for caregivers working 20 or more hours per week who complete required documents.
Mileage reimbursement between client visits when visits are less than one hour apart.
