About The Position

The Principal Technical Program Manager is a senior individual contributor in Engineering who leads complex technical programs and transformation initiatives across multiple value streams, functions, and technology domains. The role improves how engineering delivers by making delivery more predictable, higher quality, and faster while preserving ownership with the teams doing the work. It provides engineering, product, and enterprise leaders with an honest, data-driven view of how work flows. The role combines leadership of large technical programs, measurement of delivery performance—including the effects of AI-assisted development—and evidence-driven operating changes. It exercises independent judgment and influences outcomes without direct people-management responsibility, ownership of engineering commitments, or budget-approval authority. The position is remote, with travel and onsite work at client, temporary, or corporate locations as business needs require. Candidates must reside and be authorized to work in the United States. Ensemble is a provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems, hospitals, and affiliated physician groups. Its purpose centers on customer obsession, embracing new ideas, and striving for excellence. The company describes a comprehensive benefits package supporting physical, emotional, and financial health, including healthcare, time off, retirement, and well-being programs. It also offers professional development, field-relevant certifications, tuition reimbursement, and quarterly and annual incentive programs.

  • Translate performance trends and program insights into leadership recommendations about delivery constraints, causes, proposed improvements, ownership, and success measures.
  • Improve engineering operating models, delivery practices, governance, and ways of working by identifying systemic barriers and driving continuous AI-enabled improvement across teams.
