About The Position
Managed Application Platform (MAP) is a unified platform for managing applications at Amazon. MAP eliminates undifferentiated work and makes deployments safe, efficient, and scalable across the company. We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive complex, cross-organizational programs spanning Amazon's deployment infrastructure. This role encompasses deployment systems (handling millions of deployments daily), Custom AMI Baking, and the Managed OS Platform. The ideal candidate brings deep technical acumen in distributed systems and deployment infrastructure, with a demonstrated ability to operate at Amazon scale across multiple organizations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Responsibilities
- Program leadership across deployment systems, Custom AMI , and Managed OS Platform.
- Cross-org coordination, roadmap planning, dependency management, region builds/partition launches, operational excellence, stakeholder management at VP/Director level, risk management, and driving engineering velocity.
