About The Position

Own volume and device subsidy forecasting for Cricket Wireless, providing strategy, marketing, and finance leaders with analysis to support decisions on promotions, pricing, and competitive response. The role owns forecasts of activation volume and associated device subsidy at the day, device, and sale-type level, and builds, maintains, and improves forecasting models using time-series and machine-learning methods. It reconciles model output against internal forecasts and actuals, explains variance drivers, and conducts portfolio-pricing scenario analysis that balances volumes and expenses with company priorities. The position designs and runs tests to measure the lift from one-off and recurring promotions, translating findings into recommendations on effectiveness and ROI. It monitors competitor pricing, new market entrants, and OEM news, using those findings in SWOT analyses and pricing and promotional strategy. The role partners with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales to align forecasts, promotions, inventory needs, and financial approvals. The position also builds and maintains scalable analytical tools and data pipelines using Excel/VBA, SQL, Python, and Databricks to reduce manual work and make results easier to explain. It communicates complex analyses through concise, executive-ready summaries, visuals, and recommendations, and performs other tasks as needed to support the Strategic Pricing function. This is an expert-level role that leads high-impact analytical projects, works with minimal oversight, advises senior leadership, influences executive decisions, and mentors others.
