About The Position

The Principal Product Manager is a lead subject matter expert who crafts the vision and backlogs for an assigned product area. As an individual contributor, this role presents long-term product portfolio strategy options to key stakeholders and uses considerable latitude and initiative to solve complex problems. The role partners with business stakeholders, designers, and engineers to design, implement, test, and refine digital experiences, while also mentoring teammates and providing thought leadership for Alaska Air Group. This role focuses on shaping how Alaska Airlines appears in an increasingly agent-driven world. The product manager defines the strategy for how AI agents discover, understand, and interact with Alaska across the guest journey and owns the business outcomes of this emerging channel. The work includes understanding demand, optimizing commercial performance, experimenting with new ways to drive value, and enabling secure, seamless experiences in which an agent can help a guest search for a flight, complete transactions, or manage a trip. The role builds on early AI work underway and partners with engineering and cross-functional teams to determine what to build next and how to scale Agentic Commerce.
