About The Position

MDVIP is seeking a Primary Care Physician to acquire and lead an established, thriving MDVIP-affiliated primary care practice in Raleigh, North Carolina. The physician will inherit a loyal patient panel and carry forward the practice’s trusted legacy while shaping its future. The ownership opportunity offers the autonomy to lead independently, supported by MDVIP’s national physician network and practice infrastructure.

The practice emphasizes personalized, preventive, outpatient care and lasting patient relationships rather than volume-based medicine. Physicians typically see 8–10 patients per day, with longer appointments focused on personal preventive care. The opportunity is designed to provide a manageable schedule and work-life balance.

Requirements

• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Passion for patient-centered, preventive care.
• Interest in practice ownership and long-term practice leadership.
• Commitment to community, legacy, and lasting patient relationships.

Nice To Haves

• Five or more years of outpatient primary care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and lead an established primary care practice.
• Continue and build on the practice’s trusted relationships with its loyal patient base.
• Deliver personalized, preventive outpatient primary care.
• See approximately 8–10 patients per day and provide longer appointments focused on preventive care.
• Lead the practice independently while making use of MDVIP’s support and national physician network.
