About The Position
MDVIP is offering an ownership opportunity in an established, thriving MDVIP-affiliated primary care practice in San Antonio, Texas. The physician will acquire a well-established practice with a loyal patient base and carry forward its trusted legacy while shaping the future of care. The role emphasizes personalized, preventive outpatient medicine, with approximately 8–10 patients per day and longer appointments that support individualized care and lasting patient relationships. The physician will lead independently while drawing on the resources and support of MDVIP’s national physician network.
Requirements
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Passion for patient-centered, preventive care.
- Interest in practice ownership and long-term leadership.
- Commitment to community, legacy, and lasting patient relationships.
Nice To Haves
- Five or more years of outpatient primary care experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and lead an established primary care practice and continue its trusted legacy.
- Provide personalized, preventive outpatient care, with a focus on wellness and long-term patient health.
- See approximately 8–10 patients per day and use longer appointments to build meaningful patient relationships.
- Lead the practice with autonomy while using support and resources from MDVIP’s physician network.
- Develop lasting relationships with patients and contribute to the local community.
