About The Position

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is hiring a part-time Adult Medicine specialist at its Largo Medical Center. MAPMG is a physician-led group of more than 1,800 physicians serving Kaiser Permanente patients in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record to coordinate care and focus on long-term health, prevention, diagnosis, and effective treatment. Researchers and staff support innovation, quality care, educational programming, and the advancement of best practices through research.

The physician will staff 7 to 10 clinical sessions per week, with each session lasting approximately 4 to 4½ working hours. The role provides primary care to a panel of approximately 2,000 patients per 10 clinical sessions, adjusted for patient age, gender, and medical acuity. Care is delivered in clinic and by video or phone, with visit notes and post-visit summaries documented in EPIC EMR.

The starting hourly rate is $144, based on factors including skills, qualifications, degrees and certifications, training, and market data. MAPMG also offers benefits that add value to the total compensation package. Requirements

• MD or DO.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care for a panel of approximately 2,000 patients per 10 clinical sessions, adjusted for age, gender, and medical acuity.
