About The Position

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a Primary Care Outpatient Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Patients are seen in the office, and hospital rounding is required. The role involves maintaining accurate medical records using E Clinical Works (ECW), prescribing medication or therapy, recommending lifestyle changes, explaining medical procedures and test results, consulting with other doctors, participating in tumor boards and multi-disciplinary clinics, serving on hospital committees, and contributing to business development and marketing activities. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the physician practice environment and possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong decision-making skills.

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • New grad or experienced will be considered
  • Understanding of physician practice environment
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated.
  • Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation
  • TB/PPD Surveillance Program
  • Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).

Responsibilities

  • Serve on hospital Medical Staff and related committees when requested.
  • Seek to improve patient satisfaction scores and team member goals.
  • Participate in business development and marketing activities to grow the business.
