About The Position
The primary care physician provides a full scope of outpatient primary care services in an internal medicine or family medicine capacity. Services include diagnosis, treatment, care coordination, preventive care, and health maintenance. The number of patients seen each day varies according to appointment type and patient needs. Visits are prepared and supported by dedicated clinical assistants. The practice uses an EHR. Fully paid, furnished housing near the office is provided for physicians who live more than 60 miles from the clinic.
Requirements
- Active medical license in any state.
- DEA registration.
- Board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- At least 2 years of practice experience.
Responsibilities
- Review patient histories.
- Perform physical examinations.
- Evaluate and diagnose patients and provide appropriate treatment and care.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Review test results and recommend management.
- Prescribe medications.
- Formulate treatment and disease management plans.
- Communicate with the clinical team to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
