The role requires a blend of strategic positioning and hands-on content creation.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, with demonstrated ownership of pricing, packaging, or commercialization initiatives at a senior level.
  • Proven ability to develop messaging and positioning for complex, multi-product or platform environments, translating commercial complexity into clear buyer narratives.
  • Exceptional writing and content development skills, with experience producing packaging materials, pricing narratives, and enablement assets without heavy reliance on agencies.
  • Deep experience partnering with Product Management, Sales, and Revenue Operations.
  • Track record of equipping sales and customer-facing teams with the messaging, frameworks, and competitive clarity needed to win in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
  • Strong ability to manage go-to-market readiness for pricing and packaging launches, driving alignment across Product, Sales, CS, and broader GTM teams.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment, driving clarity and alignment with minimal direction.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting or leading analyst relations efforts, contributing pricing and packaging clarity for evaluations and briefings.
  • Experience in a multi-product or platform environment where shared platform foundations support multiple product experiences and pricing constructs.
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving or ambiguous environments, with a demonstrated ability to drive clarity across teams and functions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise HR technology, talent acquisition systems, or adjacent enterprise platforms.
  • Experience with value-based or outcome-based pricing models and how they are communicated to enterprise buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Shape Eightfold's Pricing & Packaging Narrative by defining and evolving messaging and positioning that resonates with enterprise buyers and reflects the platform's full value.
  • Translate packaging constructs and tier differentiation into clear, audience-appropriate narratives for prospects, customers, analysts, and internal teams.
  • Build high-authority content including packaging explainers, pricing narratives, and briefing materials.
  • Equip sales, customer success, and other go-to-market teams with messaging, talk tracks, and objection-handling frameworks for pricing conversations.
  • Monitor competitive pricing and packaging movements and translate signals into actionable guidance for messaging and field education.
  • Develop and maintain pricing and packaging messaging and positioning, grounded in customer insights, value drivers, and competitive dynamics.
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for pricing and packaging launches, partnering with Product, Sales, Revenue Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain a robust library of enablement assets, including packaging one-pagers, pitch narratives, talk tracks, and FAQ guides.
  • Partner deeply with Product Management, contributing customer insight, competitive context, and market perspective into packaging decisions, tier structure, and prioritization.
  • Conduct ongoing customer and field research, including win/loss analysis and field insight gathering, to sharpen pricing positioning and uncover friction points.
  • Drive competitive intelligence around pricing, ensuring the field can accurately and confidently position against competitor offerings.

Benefits

  • Hybrid work model designed to boost collaboration, strengthen our culture, and drive innovation through a blend of remote and in-person work.
  • Dynamic, flexible environment that nurtures the collaborative spirit of our team.
  • Equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, or disability.
