About The Position

CloudRay is seeking a Press Brake Operator (Machinist) for a client in Huntsville, Alabama. The role involves setting up, operating, and performing basic programming on machines used to produce hollow metal doors. Workstations may bend, notch, punch, form, or straighten frame parts. Press brake experience is preferred but not required; the client will train the right candidate. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior manufacturing experience.
• Pass a measurement test down to 1/16 inch.
• Basic math, computer, and fraction/decimal conversion skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Steel-toe boots required.
• Must pass a background check; no drug screening is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Press brake experience preferred but not required; training is available.
• Forklift use may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machines according to preventative maintenance procedures.
• Follow job orders and daily travelers to meet customer specifications.
• Identify and assemble door components according to the SDI handbook.
• Record production and quality data and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Support company goals by performing additional duties as assigned.
• Participate in the company Safety Program.
• Train on multiple machining workstations as proficiency increases.
