About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy is seeking a part-time teacher for a classical and Catholic Preschool 3/4 classroom. This position involves teaching up to 14 hours per week at our center in Lapeer, Michigan. While formal teaching experience or certification is not required, applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. The academy provides curriculum, grading guidelines, and training on instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and actively live the Catholic faith. The role requires preparation for classes at home and teaching in a highly structured environment.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organization.
• Timeliness.
• A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Willingness to complete a background check.
• Willingness to complete mandatory training on August 10, 11, and 12, 2026.
