About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy is seeking a part-time teacher for their PK3/4 classroom. This is a classical and Catholic homeschool hybrid program located in Charlotte, NC. The position is for 13-14 hours per week during the 2026-2027 academic year, with a small adult-to-child ratio. No formal certification or prior teaching experience is required, as all necessary training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a love for babies and toddlers and a deep commitment to the Catholic faith. Regina Caeli Academy is a national organization offering instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. Childcare/nursery is provided. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will receive training in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training.

Requirements

Must be available to work 13-14 hours per week.
Must be available on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm during the academic year.
Must be available to attend one mandatory training day on August 3, 4, or 5, 2026 (TBD) from 8 am to 5 pm.
Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
Must have a deep love for the Catholic faith.
Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
Must complete a background check.
Must complete RCA Safe Child training.
A love for babies and toddlers is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with babysitting, childcare, parenting, homeschooling, or working with homeschool children.
