About The Position

Chesterbrook Academy Preschool is seeking an energetic and nurturing Preschool Teacher Assistant Floater to work across classrooms serving children from infants through preschool. The role focuses on creating a safe, engaging classroom where children can explore, build independence, and develop essential early learning skills through discovery and play. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
• Passion for early learning, creativity, and helping children discover new skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement interactive, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Foster a warm and consistent classroom routine that helps children feel secure and confident.
• Build positive partnerships with families through open, ongoing communication.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and school leaders to provide an exceptional learning experience.
