Preschool Lead Teacher (Immediate Hire)
About The Position
Chesterbrook Academy Preschool is seeking an energetic and nurturing Lead Preschool Teacher for its early childhood education team. The program aims to spark curiosity, build confidence, and support children's development through discovery and play. The teacher creates a safe, engaging classroom where children can explore while developing independence and essential early learning skills. Spring Education Group's Early Childhood Education Division includes nearly 150 schools offering programs from infant care through Pre-K/K, as well as summer camp and after-school programs. Its educational approaches include the Links to Learning curriculum, accredited Montessori methods, and Mandarin and Spanish language immersion programs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
- A minimum of a completed AA in ECE or a related field.
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
- A passion for early learning, creativity, and helping children discover new skills each day.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement interactive, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Foster a warm and consistent classroom routine that helps preschoolers feel secure and confident.
- Build positive partnerships with families through open, ongoing communication.
- Work collaboratively with co-teachers and school leaders to ensure an exceptional learning experience.
- Perform the essential duties of the job satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
