About The Position

The Preschool Center Director leads a center at The Learning Experience, an Academy of Early Education. The role focuses on creating a positive, inclusive environment for children, families, and employees; maintaining a safe, compliant center; developing and supporting staff; guiding teachers in the proprietary curriculum; and achieving enrollment, family-retention, and operational goals. The director also manages center finances and payroll, gives tours to prospective families, and organizes community marketing events.

Requirements

At least one year of center leadership or management experience is required.
Possess the state-specific Administrative or Director credential and meet other state-specific guidelines for the role.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
Daycare or preschool experience is valued.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of center leadership or management experience is highly preferred.
A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead by example and foster trust, rapport, and inclusivity among children, families, and employees.
Ensure the center’s physical environment follows health and safety procedures and complies with local and state licensing regulations.
Source, train, coach, and engage current and prospective employees to build and maintain a highly qualified staff.
Guide teachers in implementing the company’s proprietary curriculum and use its characters to support engaging learning experiences.
Drive family retention, conversion, enrollment growth, and efficient business operations.
Manage accounts receivable and payable, prepare monthly P&L reports, and oversee employee payroll.
Conduct in-person and virtual tours for prospective families, showcasing the program.
Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment.
