About The Position

The Preschool Center Director leads a childcare and early education center, creating a positive, inclusive environment for children, families, and employees. The Director oversees health and safety practices and compliance with local and state licensing regulations, builds and develops a qualified staff, and supports teachers in delivering The Learning Experience’s proprietary curriculum. The role also drives center performance through family engagement, enrollment growth, retention, and efficient operations. Responsibilities include giving prospective families in-person and virtual tours and organizing community marketing events. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

• At least one year of center leadership or management experience is required.
• Possess the state-specific Administrative or Director credential and meet other state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
• Daycare or preschool experience is valued.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of center leadership or management experience is highly preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is highly preferred.

• Ensure the physical center environment follows health and safety procedures and complies with local and state licensing regulations.
• Source, train, coach, and engage current and prospective employees to build and maintain a highly qualified staff.
• Guide teachers in implementing the proprietary curriculum.
• Use the program’s characters to help create an engaging and enriching learning experience.
• Drive family retention and conversion, enrollment growth, and efficient business operations.
• Conduct in-person and virtual center tours for prospective families.
• Organize and execute community marketing events to increase awareness and enrollment.
