About The Position

The Learning Experience is seeking a Preschool Center Director with daycare or preschool experience to lead an early education center. The Director creates a trusted, inclusive environment for children, families, and employees; maintains a safe, compliant center; develops and coaches staff; and supports teachers in delivering the company’s proprietary curriculum. The role also oversees business performance and center operations, including financial administration, enrollment, family engagement, and community marketing.

Requirements

• At least one year of center leadership or management experience is required.
• A state-specific Administrative or Director credential and any other state-specific qualifications for the role are required.
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
• Daycare or preschool experience is valued.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of center leadership or management experience is highly preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and foster trust, rapport, and inclusivity with children, employees, families, and diverse groups.
• Ensure the center’s physical environment follows health and safety procedures and complies with local and state licensing regulations.
• Source, train, coach, and engage current and prospective employees to build and maintain a qualified staff.
• Guide teachers in implementing the company’s proprietary curriculum and use its characters to support engaging learning experiences.
• Drive business results, including family retention and conversion, enrollment growth, and efficient operations.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, prepare monthly profit-and-loss reports, and oversee employee payroll.
• Conduct in-person and virtual tours for prospective families to explain the program.
• Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment.
