About The Position
Earth Fare Team Members help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. In support of Earth Fare’s mission of helping people live healthy lives, the Prepared Foods Clerk provides customer service and prepares food across the deli, juice bar, pizza and sandwich, and hot bar areas. The clerk maintains an attractive sales floor according to Earth Fare merchandising guidelines, verifies department signage and pricing, and keeps department fixtures, storage areas, workstations, freezers, and coolers clean, sanitary, and organized.
Requirements
- Open availability.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
- Able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
- Able to stand and remain on one’s feet during the workday.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food preparation or cooking experience in a restaurant, bakery, or catering environment.
- Experience in a retail or customer service-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
