About The Position

Earth Fare Grocery Clerks provide excellent customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments, helping customers find products and meet their shopping needs. They keep these departments well stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised, and maintain an attractive sales floor according to Earth Fare merchandising guidelines. The role supports Earth Fare’s mission of helping people live healthy lives by assisting customers with healthy food and wellbeing and household products.

Requirements

• Open availability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Ability to stand and remain on one's feet during the workday.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian.
• Experience working in retail and/or a customer service-oriented environment.
