Grocery Clerk - Earth Fare Fort Mill
About The Position
Earth Fare Team Members help customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. They support Earth Fare’s mission of helping people live healthy lives by guiding customers toward trusted healthy foods and products for wellbeing and the household. The Grocery Clerk provides customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments and helps keep those departments stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised. The role maintains an attractive sales floor in accordance with merchandising guidelines from the Grocery Manager.
Requirements
- Open availability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
- Ability to stand and be on one's feet during the workday.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian.
- Experience working in a retail and/or customer service-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments.
- Keep the Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen Food Departments well stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised.
- Maintain an attractive sales floor by following Earth Fare merchandising guidelines as outlined by the Grocery Manager.
