About The Position

Earth Fare Team Members help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. They guide customers toward healthy food and products for wellbeing and the household that meet Earth Fare’s standards. The Wellness Clerk maintains knowledge of wellness products and shares information with customers while providing exceptional customer service. The role also helps keep the Wellness Department stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised, including maintaining signage and pricing.

Requirements

• Ability to learn about nutrition, supplements, herbs, homeopathy, and body care industry trends and to read and interpret product labels.
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn about, common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Ability to stand and be on one's feet during the workday.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a retail and/or customer service-oriented environment is preferred.
