About The Position
The Wellness Clerk helps customers find wellness and household products that meet Earth Fare’s standards and supports the company’s mission of helping people live healthy lives. The role provides product information and customer service, and maintains the Wellness Department’s stock, cleanliness, organization, rotation, merchandising, signage, and pricing. The position is part-time and based at Earth Fare Fort Mill in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Requirements
- Ability to learn about nutrition, supplements, herbs, homeopathy, and body care industry trends and to read and interpret product labels.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn about, common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
- Able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
- Able to stand and remain on one’s feet during the workday.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a retail and/or customer service-oriented environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Stay current on wellness product knowledge and share information with customers while providing exceptional customer service.
- Keep the Wellness Department well stocked, clean, organized, and appropriately rotated and merchandised.
- Ensure items have proper signage and pricing.
