Grocery Clerk - Earth Fare Fort Mill
About The Position
Earth Fare Team Members help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. In keeping with Earth Fare’s mission of helping people live healthy lives, Team Members guide customers toward healthy food and trusted products for wellbeing and the household. The Grocery Clerk provides customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments and helps keep those departments stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised. The role maintains an attractive sales floor according to Earth Fare merchandising guidelines and works in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The position is part-time and located at Earth Fare Fort Mill in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Requirements
- Open availability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
- Ability to stand and remain on one's feet during the workday.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian.
- Experience in a retail and/or customer-service-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments.
- Keep the Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen Food Departments well stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised.
- Maintain an attractive sales floor by following merchandising guidelines provided by the Grocery Manager.
