About The Position

The Prepared Foods Clerk delivers exceptional customer service and prepares food in the deli, juice bar, pizza and sandwich areas, and hot bar. The role maintains an attractive sales floor according to Earth Fare merchandising guidelines, verifies department signage and pricing, and maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across fixtures, storage areas, workstations, freezers, and coolers. Team members help customers find healthy food and household products and contribute to a welcoming, community-oriented store experience.

Requirements

• Open availability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Ability to stand and remain on one's feet during the workday.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food preparation or cooking experience in a restaurant, bakery, or catering environment.
• Experience working in retail and/or a customer service-oriented environment.
