About The Position

Earth Fare Team Members help customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. They guide customers toward healthy food and trusted products for wellbeing and the household.

The Prepared Foods Clerk provides exceptional customer service and prepares food in the deli, juice bar, pizza and sandwich areas, and hot bar. The role maintains department presentation, signage, pricing, cleanliness, sanitation, and organization. Weekday and weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• Must be available to work both weekdays and weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Must be able to stand and remain on one’s feet during the workday.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food preparation or cooking experience in a restaurant, bakery, or catering environment.
• Experience in retail and/or a customer service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Prepare food in the deli, juice bar, pizza and sandwich areas, and hot bar.
• Maintain an attractive sales floor in accordance with Earth Fare merchandising guidelines and the Food Service Manager’s direction.
• Verify department signage and item pricing.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of department fixtures, storage areas, workstations, freezers, and coolers.
