About The Position

Earth Fare Team Members help customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. They guide customers toward trusted healthy foods and products for wellbeing and the household. The Grocery Clerk provides customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments and helps maintain those departments and the sales floor.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Ability to stand and remain on one's feet during the workday.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian.
• Experience in a retail and/or customer service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments.
• Keep grocery, dairy, and frozen departments well stocked, clean, organized, properly rotated, and appropriately merchandised.
• Maintain an attractive sales floor by following merchandising guidelines provided by the Grocery Manager.
