Requirements

  • 1-2 years cooking experience
  • Strong understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
  • Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Able to spend 100% of the time standing.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary diploma/degree is an asset.
  • Strong background in cooking and recipe creation.
  • Strong background in high volume prep and impeccable knife skills.
  • Ordering/inventory wizard.

  • Maintain cleanliness throughout service.

  • Keep learning and welcome feedback.
  • Consistently contribute and inspire your team with safe kitchen operations and cleanliness.
  • Easily build and maintain relationships with fellow cooks and Chefs from across the company as well as foster a positive experience with the FOH teams.
  • Be in constant communication with your teams about upcoming menus and events.
  • Demonstrate high personal integrity, business ethics and take every opportunity to promote the company.
  • Take pictures of dishes.
  • Utilize conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
