About The Position

Batbox is hiring a non-tipped Prep / Line Cook for its flagship venue at Village on the Parkway in Addison, Texas. Batbox is a sports technology company focused on indoor baseball entertainment, combining immersive gameplay, data-driven technology, and hospitality. The role involves preparing ingredients and cooking and plating food with care, attention, and pride in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The position is active and hands-on, with work performed throughout the back of house.

Requirements

3–5 years of kitchen experience.
Culinary or food safety certification, such as ServSafe.
Ability to remain calm, focused, and organized during busy shifts.
Ability to follow recipes and directions precisely and carefully.
Positive, team-first attitude and ability to take feedback well.
Curiosity, coachability, and interest in growing with the company.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Fulfill orders promptly and efficiently according to bill flow, timing each step and following the cooking requirements for each dish.
Stay informed about menu ingredients, preparation methods, and updates.
Prepare, portion, and plate meals according to Batbox standards.
Refill ingredients, sauces, and supplies throughout the shift.
Assist with inventory counts and receiving deliveries.
Follow allergy policies and procedures to protect guests from allergic reactions.
Follow safe food handling procedures at all times.
Follow company policies and procedures and comply with reasonable management requests during each shift.
