About The Position
Chili’s Prep Cook is a Heart of House Team Member responsible for helping set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role involves preparing food according to recipes and company procedures, completing prep work, and stocking and setting up stations. Prep Cooks also help maintain a safe, welcoming kitchen environment and follow all safety and sanitation policies. The position is suited to someone who is friendly and caring toward coworkers, works quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume setting, and takes pride in teamwork. Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
