About The Position

A Part-Time Sales Associate drives selling efforts and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position. The associate also helps with shipments, restocking, pricing, visual standards, loss prevention, and keeping the store neat and organized. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service and support inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate basic fashion and trend knowledge and sell appropriate merchandise to satisfy customer needs, maintain DTLR standards, and build customer relationships.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Create a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression for customers and maintain an enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies and participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
Help prevent employee and customer theft.
Maintain a neat and orderly sales environment and organize the store as directed by management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
