Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 1–2 years of kitchen or culinary experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and professional under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work near heat, cold, and wet surfaces.
  • Extended periods of standing and working in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Safe use of knives, cooking tools, and kitchen equipment required.
  • High School Diploma

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items following company recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
  • Execute daily prep lists efficiently while maintaining freshness and quality.
  • Operate and maintain all kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Ensure all food items are properly labeled, dated, and rotated according to food safety standards.
  • Support daily production of grab-and-go items, specials, and made-to-order dishes.
  • Follow all food safety, allergen, and sanitation procedures consistently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
  • Adhere to all health department guidelines and company policies.
  • Report any unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning checklists.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth service.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors during service and prep times.
  • Support training of new kitchen staff as directed by management.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude in all interactions.
  • Ensure every plate meets Alltown Fresh standards for taste, freshness, and presentation.
  • Take pride in producing food that enhances the guest experience and reflects our brand values.
  • Support the Alltown Fresh commitment to creating moments of connection and hospitality, even behind the scenes.
