About The Position

Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids is hiring a highly skilled Prep Bag operator for its first shift, 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The operator must be flexible and capable of working in multiple positions as needed, with solid knowledge of bag preparation, spices, hand pre-weighing, and product requirements. The role includes identifying concerns involving ingredient quality, allergen labeling, and cleaning or changeovers. The position is based at the Kraft Heinz Cedar Rapids facility, which produces frozen soups and macaroni and cheese.

Responsibilities

Weigh raw ingredients according to recipes.
Organize ingredients according to recipes by placing them in barrels, drums, or other containers.
Perform scheduled, accurate inventory checks on ingredients.
Stage materials according to recipes.
Complete paperwork and IQS entries.
Cover staged ingredients.
Place a recipe tag on the barrel or carts when a recipe is complete.
Clean and sanitize the work area.
Help with other recipes as needed.
Assemble or change over equipment as assigned.
Verify product quality, item numbers, and weights.
Follow required safe work practices, including PPE and JSA requirements.
Follow Food Safety Policies and Safety Procedures and implement Q-RMP standards as defined by the accountability list document.
Perform other duties as assigned.
